About Ken Bergeron

For more than 40 years, I've built my career solving problems and helping customers throughout Maine. I spent 35 years as Office Manager at Eastern Industrial Automation before transitioning into outside sales, where I worked directly with customers to diagnose technical problems and recommend practical solutions.

Outside of my professional career, I've always had a passion for homes, construction, and renovation.

Over the years, I've owned six homes and personally renovated four of them. Three of those homes were taken down to the rafters and completely rebuilt. These were full-scale renovations that provided first hand experience with nearly every major system in a home.

Throughout those projects, I performed extensive mold remediation, relocated plumbing that had been embedded in concrete floors, installed new electrical systems and service panels as the homeowner, replaced windows and doors, added skylights, upgraded insulation, rebuilt interior finishes, and completed countless structural and cosmetic improvements.

In addition to renovating homes, I've built a large three-bay garage from the ground up and constructed extensive exterior stair systems and other structural projects. These experiences have given me a practical understanding of framing, roofing, moisture intrusion, insulation, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, windows, doors, and the many components that work together to make a home safe and functional.

After more than four decades of helping customers solve complex technical problems, I founded Bergeron Home Inspections to combine my lifelong passion for homes with my commitment to helping people make informed decisions. As an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI®), I combine professional inspection training with decades of real-world construction and renovation experience.

Whether you're buying your first home, your forever home, or an investment property, my goal is to provide a thorough, unbiased inspection and explain my findings in a way that's easy to understand. I inspect every home with the same level of care and attention I would expect if I were purchasing it myself.
